The Cause List shows the time, Court, and Judge for each Commercial Court hearing. The Cause List is published on the Ministry of Justice website. It is updated in the afternoon of each working day during Legal Term to show the information for the next day’s hearings.

It is important to note that the Cause List is sometimes changed after the afternoon update: for example, if the Court is particularly busy, or if cases settle at short notice, then published times, locations, or Judges may have to be changed at short notice. The Court always tries to notify parties or their lawyers by phone or e-mail if the Cause List is changed after 4.30pm on the day before a hearing, but anyone attending a hearing in the Commercial Court should check the list at the end of the previous day in case any information has changed.
